FOUNDER

St. Vincent Pallotti, the founder of the Union of the Catholic Apostolate, was born on April 21, 1795 in Rome as the third of the ten children of Peter Paul Pallotti and Mary Magdelene de Rossi. He spent his entire life in the city of Rome. He lived in an age of democratic revolutions and turbulent time of Italian history plagued by wars, invasions, and occupation of inimical powers. St. Vincent lived through.

As the Founder of the Priests and Brothers, Sisters and Associates of the Society of the Catholic Apostolate in the year 1835, he brought into the mainstream of the Church the idea that unity, coordination and participation of all, especially the laity are essential elements of universal and effective apostolic work within the Church. He founded numerous service institutions like orphanages, Hospitals, Night Schools work workers, Shelter Homes for the destitute, professional and technical educational institutes besides caring spiritually for the overall development of the people. 

He died in the year 1850, at the age of 55, leaving behind him a saga of service and inspiration. The Pallottine Fathers and Brothers today serve the world in different fields taking inspiration from that Man of God.

The School was founded in the year 2000 and started to function in 2002.

The Pallottine Fathers and Brothers of GLORIA DIE REGION, Vijayawada took over the Management of the School in 2007.
